As you may know, my name is Marc, and we run a YouTube channel called “Road Notes”, which is all about the RV Lifestyle. What many of you may not know is that a big part of my background is owning pet care and dog training businesses. In the past, I worked in law enforcement and security for the US Air Force, where I was introduced to canine kennel operations, and my interest in K9 services and training began. Studying countless hours of dog training methods, dog psychology, and dog behavior, I eventually became a K9 Security Services handler and later a K9 Services program manager for dual purpose dogs, including protection and search and tracking, before I began to train domestic dogs. The most important aspect of my domestic dog training philosophy was not so much me training a dog that understands some commands but turning a dog into a well-balanced Canine citizen that is safe for all to enjoy. Another equally important aspect (if not more) was to work with my dog owners, and to educate and provide knowledge on responsible pet ownership, and what it means to be a true pack leader, to offer a long-lasting, trusting, and bonding relationship with their dog.
The same I want to provide here for our RV dog owners, a source of education and knowledge for a better and well-balanced relationship between RV dog owners and other RV enthusiasts.
